(Ptince Valley Guest House, St Andrew, Jamaica)
Prince Valley Guest House is a mountain paradise for backpackers, photographers, birdwatchers, horticultuarlists and all nature lovers, nestled on the edge of a coffee farm in the breathtaking Blue Mountains of rural St. Andrew.
Although we are in a rural location we are only a 45 minute drive from the busy streets of Kingston ... the Reggae Capital of the world.
Jamaica's Beaches are wonderful ... but at Prince Valley Guest House you can discover the other Jamaica ... where you can experience and explore the quiet beauty of the Blue Mountains.
On our verandas you can completely relax, look out at the beautiful Blue Mountains and the small modest coffee farm that lies below, sip some of the best coffee on the planet and just enjoy the beauty of nature!
The mountains are rich with fruit trees, rushing rivers, foliage of all kinds, and we are only a short drive from Hollywell National Recreation Park and some of the best hiking in the Blue Mountains. A guide can be arranged if you want a challenging hike to Blue Mountain Peak.
Nearby places of interest are Newcastle Soldiers Camp, Mavis Bank Coffee Factory, Craighton Coffee Estate, Twyman Coffee Estate, and Cinchona Botanical Gardens.
We are only an hour from the nearest public beach and transportation can be arranged for a day at the beach, or to visit the historic seaside town of Port Royal.
The Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston is also about an hour away, and we will happily arrange an airport pickup.
Prince Valley Guest House has five separate units, one of which is built around a tree.
