Jamaica, a jade in the Caribbean Sea,
A land of unique experiences and beauty
With breathtaking landscapes and scenery
A climate ideal for almost any activity
The place to relax, and rejuvenate in harmony.

Wake up at daybreak to hear the roosters crowing,
The birds melodiously chirping or singing
The canines barking, felines meowing
It’s wonderful being in my beautiful homeland.
Because I’m a very proud Jamaican.

Our people have made tremendous contributions
In academia, culinary arts, music, and sports.
Skills and talents are here in abundance
Waiting to be discovered and given a chance
To make themselves into proud Jamaicans.

Reggae music playing in every nook and cranny,
Watch the children skanking, even the granny.
A convergence of many cultural diversity
One people with one aim, one shared destiny
That makes Jamaica a place of beauty and prosperity.
