The White Witch Golf Course was named after Annie Palmer who owned
the Rose Hall Plantation in the 19th century, was reputed to have
killed three husbands, and cast spells on her slaves.
It is a
6,758 yard par 71 course ... designed by Robert Von Hagge, Rick Baril
and Mike Smelek ... which opened in August 2000 as part of the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall Golf & Spa Resort.
In 2000, very shortly after it's opening, the Shell's Wonderful World of Golf match between Notah Begay lll and Hal Sutton was played here.
The course meanders through the hills of Rose Hall and you get spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea from all but two of it's 18 holes. Strong winds ... gullies that you have to navigate ... and the mountainous terrain ... make it a into a formidable test of your golfing ability.
Every hole is unique and this is a course that you will enjoy. Put it on your must play list. Watch this 2 minute video to get an idea of how spectacular this White Witch Golf Course is.
