The Tryall Golf Course is built on an old sugar plantation, and designed by Texan Ralph Plummer. This 18-hole, 6221 yard, par 72 course is very
definitely one of the most beautiful golf courses anywhere. Nine
holes border the Caribbean, and nine wind their way through the
surrounding hills and past the luxury villas of the Tryall estate, providing stunning views.
The Mazda LPGA/Senior PGA was played here from 1985 to 1987 ... the LPGA Jamaica Classic from 1988 to 1990 ... the Johnnie Walker World Championship from 1991 to 1995 ... the last event won by Fred Couples ... the only player to break par that year.
